BACKSTORY! This guy is the descendant of my fantroll, Oxalis. Their yellowblooded power has to do with causality, in the sense that they absorb the bad luck of the trolls around them and give them GOOD luck instead. So, they can basically be beaten-up, maimed or intentionally made ill through poisoning or exposure to disease, and in turn it makes them into something of a good luck charm for others!

So Oxalis, after he was caught by highbloods and used as a helmsman/good luck charm, they kind of *cough*harvested*cough* his genetic information and gave the material to a specific mother grub, and when his descendant was slurried they took him away to keep him as a good luck charm until he’s old enough to be used as a helmsman AND good luck charm. They cut off his left arm slice by slice for bits of good luck before they realized that poisoning him or making him sick worked just as well.
